clutter bug [closet] challenge

hello again.

If some of you are like me, you could say your closet is pretty much a mess.
My closet is a random, sale, unorganized rack.
I have lots of different clothes,
but its made up with a bunch of items I can't seem to part with.

Lately, I've been doing a lot of reading on minimalist closets.
Where (mostly) gals take a certain amount of items from their wardrobe to keep
and then either put away or donate the rest.
This got me inspired!!!
I could totally live with less, and definitely in my wardrobe.
Sometimes we forget how truly lucky we are for what we have.
(especially over the next few holiday months)

Starting October 1st my goal is to live with
30 pieces of clothing in my wardrobe.

In these 30 things, they don't include basics-
[like under-roos, bras, socks, tights..those types of items, oh and also, workout/sleep clothes.]
I've set aside just a few pairs that will go interchangeable.
I'm also limiting my shoes to 10 pairs.
Who knows what this fall/winter has in store.

I'm most excited about 3 things:
--->less decisions
--->more time to focus on whats important
--->expressing my creativity through these selected items

So, if you're feeling up for a challenge in the wardrobe department..
I'd suggest you join me.
It doesn't cost anything money wise,
but I'm sure you will certainly gain some perspective through the process.

 follow me on instagram: @littlemrsmack

And I'm hopefully going to convince Mr. Mack to do this with me
...if he has 30 items to begin with ;)

Excited to be on this journey with you!

for the love of mason jars

If you know me {shea} at all....you will quickly find that
I am in
with mason jars.
They are perfect for everything from drinks-to-storage-to-canning...you name it!
(and trust me, you don't want to get me started)
Overall they are versatile, which lets be honest, is a great asset.

One day a few months ago:
I asked Adam if he could make me a mason jar with a lid & a straw.
Wouldn't you know it, he made one it exceeded my expectations! (i loved it!)
I started using it 24/7, and random people would stop me and ask where I got it.
I told them: my husband (hehe<3) made it for me!
And their response was: its the coolest thing I've ever seen.
It's the truth.
It was/is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

We had been brainstorming the idea of selling them. And to be honest,
I contimplated if I wanted to share my coolness with the world, or keep it to myself.
Well, I'm fairly humble (even if thats a little blurry in this moment)

So, without further adu.. i'd like to introduce mack made's finest:
they will be available on our etsy account so you can purchase one HERE!

Thanks for stopping by, I greatly appreciate it!
Hope you have a fantastic labor day weekend!
Now, time for me to pack for the beach! :)

day one via etsy

So today, our etsy site is up and running.

Though our one item on there may seem like no big deal..
to us it is huge! Good news is: we are just getting started!
We just want to thank all our friends & family for
encouraging us to expand our creative abilities and
to push us to becoming the best husband/wife/team we can be.
Thanks for "liking" us & really showing us some grace
{especially in the beginning of this journey.}
Thanks for being there at the start. :)
We pray that one day, if we are so lucky..we can look back to this day
& be so grateful for what became of this whole adventure.
So thanks be to God & our lovely support system!
You guys are the best!

welcome to our adventure

Adam & I are so excited
to be hitting the blog
& craft scene as a duo!

The past couple months for us have been a little crazy (good crazy) to say the least! First, we got married..which was by far the best day of both of our lives. We have never felt so much love and excitement for our new lives to begin together. I wish I could relive those moments over & over again. (one can wish) Followed by more excitement...moving in together, living with one another, always being together.  {IT WAS AWESOME}

Now, as we transition into the next stage..we are excited to spend time with one another doing things we really enjoy. So we decided to jump into this new adventure..as a pair & really just love what we create.

We are so excited to see what Gods plans are for us & our business.
And we hope you join us along for the ride.
Keep posted for some lovely things coming to our blog soon!

Thanks for your support and love.

Excited to be on this journey with each other but you as well! xo
